Hi! is there any way to export an Irricad file created with Irricad link, so I can open it with AutoCad and edit the Irricad items?
We have a team that makes the designs, they have the Irricad Licence; but we have another theam, that is in the field, and they need to create "as built" blueprints, we would like the second team to use the Irricad dwg file as a base, but when they open that file with AutoCad (Without irricad link on it), the blocks and pipes cant be moved or deleted, since they are proxy objects. ¿Is there any solution to that?

Regards,

Hi,

Yes, export the file to DXF format. Then when opened with plain AutoCAD the IRRICAD items will not be proxies and will be editable.

Thank you so much for your quick repply Jo!, I tried that, but then I cant open the file, since it makes my AutoCad crash. Is that a known issue?

This works ordinarily.
Are you receiving the popup message:-
"FILE FORMAT - Saving to this format is not supported for Irricad entities" where you needed to click OK to proceed?

Then are you receiving the message:-
"This action will create a copy of the design with Irricad data removed."

If the issue persists please send your design (dwg file) to your local IRRICAD Support Team for troubleshooting.
