Hi Ari,
Your image is missing, however pipe labels for the same item can be combined by enabling the "Combine Pipes" option.
While in theory this does work on mainline pipes it is probably most useful on zone submains, unless your mainline doesn't have branches or significant bends. This function does cope with junctions (permanent or not), valves, and outlets along the pipe but not with valves on stalks connected to the mainline (resulting in a branch).
Note that, in general, the pipe labels will be combined until:
- the pipe changes to different one
- the angle of the pipe segments exceeds the "Angle Tolerance"
- a branch connects to the pipeline.
Be aware that for most hydraulic labeling having "Combine Pipes" enabled will mean that hydraulic labels will display as "***", as potentially each segment will have different hydraulic information. In these case, use the 2nd label set to separate hydraulic labels from non-hydraulic labels as detailed in Help|Help Topics - User Manual -> Enhancing the Presentation of Plans -> Automatic Labeling -> Using Label Sets.
