Hi.
the managment symbol by default puts the area name (tag #NAME#).
is it possible to replaced it with the valve name (tag #CVALVENAME#)?

see attached screenshot: the valve name of Area No. 36 - 3 is 18.
is it possible that "18" will show instand of "Area No. 36 - 3"?

Hi Ari,

In my tests the management symbol will show the Zone name instead of the Irrigation Area name.
Note that the management symbol does not use label keywords but obtains the zone names directly from the zone itself, as seen in the Zone Design Configuration and Valve Specification Summary.

Which method did you use to change the default valve names?
Note that if you have a management symbol on the plan and have renamed the zones, the management symbol will only update when Management is re-run.
If the issue persists please send us your designs and any details regarding the valve naming.

Hi Jo and thanks for the reply.
to start with - the problem is resolved,
and the key issue was to re-run Management like you wrote.

about the steps I took:
1. since I use the sub division tool, I let Irricad to automaticaly assign zone and valve names at first and design the zones.
2. design the managmet.
3. drew the managmet symbole.
4. changed the zones and valves names according to what I needed.
5. re-run managment without changing anything (Design -> Assign Zones To System Flows -> Ok -> Save & Exit) - and the managmet symbol did updated
according to the new the zones names.

the issues I hope that Irricad team will be able deal with are:
1. create an automtic managment symbol update command like I've described in paragraph 5 above.
2. create an automtic command to change the valve name to the zone name if the zone name was changed, or vice versa - to change the zone name to
the new valve name (it is more simple to change the valve name - When working with 40 or more zones it starts to become significant to change
both the zones and valves names...)

Hi Ari,

Unfortunately the management symbol cannot update without re-running Management. This is the only way to update Management with zone name changes for an existing management symbol.

As for your 2nd request, there could be other ways of doing this and we will add your request to our "Future Features Request List" to be considered.
