Tutorial 1.3.5 APPLYING A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF WATER TO AREA

Post by go_aggies »

Hi,

I am doing a IrriCAD tutorial from the Help topics: 1.3.5 APPLYING A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF WATER TO AN AREA. I followed all the steps very closely, but in the Zone Flow Report I keep getting an Operating Time of 0:0:0 and Max. Precipitation Rate of 0.00. I paid very close attention to entering 5 mm/h for the maximum allowable intensity and 2 mm for the depth in the Irrigated Area dialog. I am using version 15. Why could I be getting zeroes for Operating Time and Max. Precipitation Rate? The tutorial says I should be getting 26 minutes for the Operating Time and 5.00 mm/h for Max. Precipitation Rate. Is the tutorial missing a step?

Thanks.

Hi,

We're sorry to hear that you are having an issue with this tutorial. Please check the "Cycle Time (days)" setting in Design|Design Parameters - Economic Parameters - this should be set to 1.
If you are still having an issue please feel free to send the design to Support@IRRICAD.com so that we can find the cause of the missing information.
Note that as the university is eligible for Version 16 you can receive priority support via email with your local support team (irricad@nelsonirrigation.com).

Regards,

Jo
