Changing Text Size in Object Info

Post by jovivier »

The text size for the Object Info window and the Object Info panel are controlled via registry keys.

To change the text size:-
1. With IRRICAD Link closed enter Regedit in the Windows “Search” field. When you see "Registry Editor" in the list double-click on this to open.

2. For Standalone browse to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AEI Software\Irricad\AppSettings\Misc
For IRRICAD Link on AutoCAD browse to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AEI Software\Irricad ACAD\AppSettings\Misc
For IRRICAD Link on BricsCAD browse to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AEI Software\Irricad BCAD\AppSettings\Misc

3. Double-click on the “InfoCharSize” string in the right-hand panel. If the value is “0” this means to use the default size. When using the default size, the text sizes are different between the Object Info window and the Object Info panel.

4. Increase or decrease the value. This value can be between 0 and 50. ‘15’ is good starting point.
When specifying a size, both dialogs will be set to this text size.
Note, this is not a point text size.

5. Close the Registry and run IRRICAD.

6. Check if the text size in both the Object Info window and the Object Info panel are suitable.

7. To make further changes ensure IRRICAD is closed when working in the Registry Editor.
