Management Symbol - Unconnected Items
Hi IrriCad Team, I trust all is well. I have a design which I made copies of an exploded management symbol and placed into three separate plot layouts for presentation purposes. After I had copied the management symbol I noticed that I had unconnected items in my design which were not there before a...

Re: Using Spec Sheets to Enter Curve Fitting Values
Hi Samantha, I don't believe you are doing anything wrong it is just the Netafim database used a different method of calculating the headloss (Kv) and therefore, gives differeing results in the K & n values but will produce the same outcome. A good way to check your created valve is to use it in...

Re: Keywords for Plot Template
Hi Samantha, The keyword #DNUM# has been made redundant in the latest version of IrriCad. This keyword can be replaced with #NUMB# which comes from the actual file name of the design. You can also find the list of keywords for plot templates and their locations under the IrriCad help menu Technical ...

Move Point Command - Block Disturbance
Hi IrriCad Team, One function that would be a handy time saver would be to move Irrigation Block points, without disturbing the internal design. (e.g. submain size and valve location etc.) This feature would be ideal for system re-designs that require a small change with a block boundary or block an...

Re: Aligning contour labels
Hi Rob / IrriCad Team,
In addition to that suggestion maybe having a feature in the Contour/Label Text command to automatically label contours every 1.0m / 2.0m / 5.0m / 10.0m only?

Re: Pipe reduction symbol
Hi Dan, To add to the guys suggestions I believe 1 reducing triangle (filled in our outlined dependant on user preference) for each pipe reduction would be sufficuent. Multiple symbols or an additional symbol after the valve would be to cluttered on a plan in my opinion and valves that do not use a ...

Re: Coordinate help
If I could also make comment on the use of Google Earth, we have found that the elevation data can be more than 10m out and is not always relative in accuracy.
In my experience I would not suggest using any "free" means of obtaining elevation data as there is no guarantee of it's accuracy.

Re: Interpolate Elevations
Hi Jo,
Does their even need to be an "Interpolate Elevations" option?
When does IrriCad not automatically use this itself?

Sub Divide Block - Row Numbers
IrriCad Team, In the feature of Subdivide Block we are able to split blocks either by equal row numbers or unequal row numbers by use of the multiple function. The issue I find is that when we have a slight variation in row numbers it is difficult to tell from which end IrriCad has begun it's subdiv...

Re: Implementing Visual CADD 5.0 Functions
Hi Dan, I apologise for the delay in my reply. Please ignore my previous question. In the latest version of IrriCad, it seems this problem has been corrected. What i was trying to explain was if i have a line that has been extended or trimmed, i could not seem to extend or trim to that same line aga...

Re: Labeling Feedback
Hello Dan, In my opinion I believe the labeling is fine the way it is at the moment. I do not see any long term benifits in spending time upgrading this part of the program. My only suggestion would be as you have touched on in your comments, to add the option to label the water source automatically...

Zone/Mainline BOM
IrriCad Team,
Is it possible in the near future to set up the Report Zone/Mainline BOM, to order the Area Numbers from 1.
Currently it does not order them correctly and can get hard to find certain areas in a large design.

External Database Checkbox
IrriCad Team, A situation that we have here at Netafim Australia is that we create a new database each year with a new database extension name. As you would know IrriCad will always look for it's original database externally whenever a project is opened which can be painful in our case if we are to ...

Pressure Rating in Database
Hello IrriCad Team, After entering a number of items into the IrriCad database under Other Hydraulics, i have notice that an option to have a Maximum Pressure Rating would be handy to have. I am aware that there is a section for minumum and maximum flows but what if the pressure in the system is too...
