Increase flow in system flow

Post by Miguel_l_e »

hi

I have a design problem, I have a valve flow calculated at 25 m3 but when that income to assign shifts irrigation, the flow of the valve is changed. (increase flow)

Miguel,

The 25m3/hr valve flow - did you calculate the expected flow based on the number of outlets/tapes or is it from the Zone Design reports?
If you have not yet run Zone Design then the management flows will be based on nominal flows (outlets) or the SDR from the database(tapes).
If your design has tapes make sure the SDR is correct for the spacing and emitter flow.

In Version 14 you can now run Zone Design before management (assigning shifts) and therefore actual design flows will be used in management.

I have my calculations on agronomic design and I get for example 25 m3, besides confirm with "show flow", but at the time of allocating turned over this flow is increased. that can happen.?

The Show Flow tool uses the nominal flows for outlets or the SDR for tapes.
The designed flows can be different from the nominal flows for non-Pressure compensating emitters.
