Hi Team,
I am working on a design where I need to change the Outlet "Plotting Symbol" as the line width is too small to see. After i make the change to the .dwg file used for the outlet, only new outlets placed are affected by the change, where the original symbols within the design don't. Is there a command or function that will update the existing symbols to display the changes made.

Re: Outlet Plotting Symbol
Hi Craig,
Is the "Update Entities from Database" option enabled in Irricad Options|Irrigation Items?
If so, close the design and re-open it.

Re: Outlet Plotting Symbol
Hi Team,
Yes the "Update Entities From Database" checkbox is checked.
I believe IrriCAD stores some design specific database information within the .dwg file in the past is may have been in one of the support files (.cer .des .dzf .dzn .iar .bdb .stn .vcd .wsp .zne .ztm). If this is the case, it maybe one of these files is not updating after I resave the outlet .dwg file, and reopen the design.

Re: Outlet Plotting Symbol
Hi Craig,
I see that the "Update Database Entities" will only look for changes made in the database dialog, such as symbol colour and plotting symbol name.
If you did not save your changes as a new file name neither IRRICAD nor AutoCAD would know to update the definition.
To have the changed symbol come through into an existing design there are two options:-
Option 1. Save the symbol changes to a new file name.
Then specify the 'new' symbol in the database for the products you would like to use it.
The added advantages of using a new file name are that any update we make will not overwrite this file and will not be removed if you happen to uninstall before re-installing.
Option 2. To keep using the same file name with the updated symbol:-
Open the design where you want to update the existing symbols.
Select all instances of this outlet.
Use IRR_CHANGETYPE (or the double-chameleon icon) to change the outlet to a different outlet.
Save and close the design.
Open the design and change the above outlets back to their original outlet.
