While importing drone imagery, Irricad warning message says: AdobeDeflate compression support is not configured

This suggests that it is configurable to import larger imagery files?

The problem I'm having is that while importing high def drone imagery, I have to re-size the images and lose resolution. Can Irricad handle larger imagery files if it is configured correctly?

It is difficult to say without knowing the image format in question, but Irricad Standalone is certainly limited in the size of images it can display. Note this limitation is to do with allocatable video memory and thus relates to the physical image size (i.e. pixel dimensions) rather than the file size. A very small JPG file can define an enormous image!

The limit is somewhat nebulous as it depends on your hardware, image bit depth, number of images already in the file etc., so the best we can recommend is to make your background images a small as possible (in pixel terms).

Unfortunately the image handling is part of the third-party CAD engine we use, so we have no direct control over how it is configured.
Irricad Link offers improved support for large imagery via the AutoCAD or BricsCAD platforms.

Thank you, I have a work around for resizing the image, but it loses some resolution. It would be nice to maintain high resolution in Irricad so that I can use the imagery for field borders, etc.

Unfortunately there isn't currently a better method to downsize the imagery for use in IRRICAD Standalone.
IRRICAD Link, in AutoCAD or BricsCAD, does not have the same limitations and appears to handle large imagery with ease.
