Hi,
I have query regarding the zone summary report pertaining to total zone flow. It seems in the project I am working in now, the result I obtaining from the zone summary report for the total zone flow is totally different from that reflected when I am assigning zone flows (Design>Assign system flows). I tired getting the total zone flow manually, and the result I am obtaining is very near to the result of the zone flow thru Design>Assign System Flows. I checked if units are the same (during design and when generating reports), and they are the same, in lpm.
For manual computation, I used these data: Areas for Zone 4 and Zone 5 are as follows:
Zone 4 = 129,920sq.m.
Zone 5 = 186467 sq.m.
Drip tape used was @ rate 1.6lph with emitter spacing of 0.4m. Tree row to be irrigated is spaced at 9m. There are 2 drip lines on both side of the trees spaced at 1m. I.e.
___________________ drip line
1m space
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO rows of trees
1m space
___________________ drip line
Zone 4 total flow = 1925lpm (very near to "assign system flow value")
Zone 5 total flow = 2763lpm (also near to assgn system flow value)
Can someone help me how to solve this problem with the report? I attached some screenies that can help make things a bit more clear. I attached the summary report as a PDF.
Thanks!

Re: Totla Zone Flow in Zone Summary Report
Hi
The Zone Summary Report gives your the Right answer. In the Management report or in the System flows at this stage it take into account the default flow from the SDR data . Your PC dripper has some difference in flow along the range of pressure so it create about an average of around 1%-2% lower than trhe expected one . Hope that this differece will be solved in the next version .

ok. thanks.
Re: Total Zone Flow in Zone Summary Report
This is referring to an older post, but has this problem been fixed? or am I doing something wrong. I also get different zone flow based on which report I use. The zone flow report seems to be more accurate, but the management reports are showing higher flow. How do I make these match so that I can use the management symbol for zone flow and have the other reports be right?

Re: Total Zone Flow in Zone Summary Report
This situation isn't a bug. Currently the Management reports and Assigning Zones to System Flows is pre-Design.
All the system knows at this stage is the SDR entered in the database (for Tapes) or the required pressure entered into the Outlet dialog.
It is only after design (where it has calculated actual pressures at emitters) where actual flows can be reported.
You can label your blocks/zones with actual design flows using the labeling tool (Settings|Labels and Tools|Create Labels).
In Version 13 we are introducing management after Zone Design which means that actual design flows can be used in the management/assigning process.
