Hi,
I’ve been trying to figure out a way for irricad to calculate the amount of glue and primer needed for a design. Once In the database, irricad doesn’t allow me to create an assembly under pipes. I currently have the glue and primer under miscellaneous items and have to change the quantity manually. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Creating Pipe assemblies
Hi mjimenez,
It is currently not possible to add glue or primer to pipe assemblies.
A custom report could be programmed and created which would automatically add the glue/primer with the pipes. Note the report would not be able to list the required amount of glue or primer separately from the pipe. The costs, however, would include pipe and glue/primer costs.
Regards,
Jo

Re: Creating Pipe assemblies
Hi Jo,
I've placed our primer/glue into an assembly. However, we figured that for each assembly-we only use less than 1 (by formula,we figured we use an amount less than 1, let's say .088). When i try to put that amount in, there is a prompt that comes up and doesn't allow me to proceed with that amount. Is there any way around this? If not, is the best way to figure these items in-in the report? Thank you for all your help.
Blessings on your day:)

Re: Creating Pipe assemblies
Hi Samantha,
Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately a bug has crept into V11 that does not allow numbers of items in assemblies below 1 (except for pipes and tapes added to assemblies). However part numbers above 1 are accepted (e.g., 1.1).
We have made a fix for this bug for Pro Version 11. Once it is tested I will post it on the forum for downloading.
Regards,
Jo
