Zone Pressure

Post by miclough »

I designed a zone of sprinklers with 20 psi as the design pressure, and Irricad designed the zone at 30 psi pressure. I did the same sprinklers on another project this week, and that didn't happen. I made a global change to 15 psi and the pressure that Irricad designed for was still 30 psi.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Mike,
What version are you running? For version 12 you can contact Nelson for direct support. You can send the design if you have the current version.
It is a little hard to tell without seeing the design.

Factors most likely affecting this are:-
- The control valve pressure. If this has been set, and is too high, in the Zone Design Configuration table.
- The allowable pressure range
  • - the tolerances for the outlet have been changed in the database
    - the tolerances have been specified in the Zone Design Configuration table
    - the minimum allowable nozzle pressure has been specified as 30psi in the database.
