i have attached an example of a new area that i think will add some usability to the Tape/Spray block entity.
under the block tab of the dialogue box i suggest putting a section for multiple submain sizes, using the percent feature which is used for valve location. most of the time as a designer you already know approx what is going to be the submain sizes used. for example - a submain of 100m in length. we could split the sub into three equal parts, ie 33% in each drop down menu. when you have a starting point that is closer to your end submain sizes, only minor tweaking is then needed to finish the submain design.

Another good idea, would certainly save time on medium to large designs, afterall time is money.

Re: Suggestions for - Tape/Spray Block Entity
May I add another suggestion closely related to that?
What about an additional check box which would round off submain pipe lengths as close as possible to a multiple of 6m?

I am pretty sure every Irricad user would love to have this.
From the end of the submain,
Select size 1- user to input number of metres
Select size 2- user to input number of metres
Select size 3- user to input number of metres or balance to valve
And for it to add a pipe junction between sizes exactly at the specified metre mark (ie not a size change at an existing row close to the metre mark)
I am pretty sure every Irricad user would love to have this.
