Hi... I was wondering what might the best way to transfer some of the IrriCAD settings and configurations from my old computer to a new machine, and ideally share with other designers within the company. For example all of the tabs within the Settings menu and more importantly Pipe fitting matching tables, Supplier code multipliers and such are fairly complex and time consuming to copy over. Would be nice to be able to replicate it exactly down to the toolbar layout. Doing so would remove discrepancies between designers and/or workstations and make things go smoother all around. Anyone know of a way to do that? I do have Access and can delve into the registry if either would be beneficial.
Thanks for your time!

Re: New workstation - How to transfer settings over?
Hi Mike
It is pretty straightforward to transfer all Irricad settings from one machine to another. The settings are located in the registry under the following key:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AEI Software\Irricad
To export then just right click on the "Irricad" key above in the left hand pane of Regedit and select "Export". Make sure that "Selected Branch" is the "Export Option" in the dialog (if it is set to "ALL" then you would most likely break things badly on the target PC!). Save the resulting .reg file and transfer it to the target machine(s). Open Regedit on the target PCs and import (File/Import) the .reg file, open Irricad and check the settings.
Note that if Irricad is installed in a different folder on the target PC then all the path settings will have been reset and will then need to changed appropriately.
Regards
Phil
