HYTRAN ANALYSIS

Post by Gennaro Vellotti »

It would be good it IRRICAD had an option for Hytran Anaylsis. Water hammer simulator for transfer mainlines. Options to determine, Air Valve locations, Anti Slam Valve & Surge Tanks. Something Engineering companies would use along with, some large builders & large council engineering offices. Ability to output mainline profile drawings as well.
 This could be developed as an add on/bolt on to Irricad.

Once again, Gennaro, that is a great suggestion. I agree. That would make a fantastic add on.

I agree with Gennaro. Something built in-house would be preferable to avoid additional software licencing.

Interesting - HYTRAN is another Kiwi company with a pedigree similar to Irricad.

I've also though that we might be able to add some simple analysis to warn about pump cavitation and flashing at let-downs - if only we had more time... ;)
