Pipe Pressure Temprature Derating

Post by Gennaro Vellotti »

Would be nice to see the ability to add either to the database or design parameters (or both) the ability to derate Pipe PN class due to different water or surface temperatures. It could be something you check in database to use this feature then, add pressure rating at different temperatures. May also require a temp setting in Design parameters (seperate to viscosity or tied into viscosity).

Friday afternoon job for Dan ;)

Maybe not this Friday......

Hello

It seems to be designed for the pressure and flow capacity should be calculated. Looking for a better way to be due to geographical location and environmental conditions designed to calculate the correct temperature., And then you have the effect of temperature on the viscosity and the viscosity of the hydraulic parameters (n, c, etc) to considerable. In any case, this is a good idea for the calculations in a specific spot.
