What to do if you receive the message "A Generic error occurred in GDI+" when using File|Import from Google Earth:-
In Version 14.14.5 an ‘Untitled’ new design can causes this error. There are two ways to fix this:
1. Save your design before you import from Google Earth, so that the image is saved in the same location as your design
or
2. Make sure your “Designs Path" (the default save location) doesn’t have any spaces in the path, for example C:\Designs. You can set the path in Settings|Drawing Items.
Installing the latest Version 14 patch will correct this issue.
