IRRICAD Link - Full Install and Upgrade

For the IRRICAD Link installation we suggest that the user be given Administrator privilege, if they don’t have it already, for the duration of the install. This will ensure that required registry entries are present and the User files will be accessible when logged in as the normal user. Note that BricsCAD will also need to have been installed with Administrator privilege. Using the Admin password when installing for a normal user will not provide the required registry entries, nor will installing when logged in as Administrator provide the correct files in the Users folder.
If you have more than one version of the CAD application installed ensure you first run the version that is compatible with your IRRICAD plug-in before installing it. Running the CAD application prior to installing IRRICAD Link is also particularly important if you have just installed the CAD application. Close the CAD application before proceeding
IRRICAD Link V21 Installation
A code change to the IRRICAD dongle is required in order to run IRRICAD Link v21 - contact your distributor. If you have NOT purchased, or are NOT eligible for an upgrade to Link v21 DO NOT download and install this upgrade. Save the file to your hard disk. This will install into an existing version of BricsCAD Pro or higher V22-V23
This installation will:-
- install a new IRRICAD Link Version 21
- upgrade an existing IRRICAD Link V16, Link V17, Link V18, Link V19, or Link V20 to IRRICAD Link V21.
Select "Yes, Remove older versions" in the installation wizard to retain existing paths.

IRRICAD Link V20 Installation
A code change to the IRRICAD dongle is required in order to run IRRICAD Link v20 - contact your distributor. If you have NOT purchased, or are NOT eligible for an upgrade to Link v20 DO NOT download and install this upgrade. Save the file to your hard disk. This will install into an existing version of BricsCAD Pro/Platinum v21-v22.
This installation will:-
- install a new IRRICAD Link Version 20
- upgrade Link Version 20.04 or 20.05 to 20.06
- upgrade an existing IRRICAD Link V16, Link V17, Link V18 or Link V19 to IRRICAD Link V20.
Select "Yes, Remove older versions" in the installation wizard to retain existing paths.

IRRICAD Link V19 Installation
A code change to the IRRICAD dongle is required in order to run IRRICAD Link v19 - contact your distributor. If you have NOT purchased, or are NOT eligible for an upgrade to Link v19 DO NOT download and install this upgrade. Save the file to your hard disk. This will install into an existing version of BricsCAD Pro/Platinum v20-v21.
This installation will:-
- install a new IRRICAD Link Version 19
- upgrade Link Version 19.04 or 19.05 to 19.08
- upgrade an existing IRRICAD Link V16, Link V17, or Link V18 to IRRICAD Link V19.
Select "Yes, Remove older versions" in the installation wizard to retain existing paths.

IRRICAD Link V18 Installation
A code change to the IRRICAD dongle is required in order to run IRRICAD Link v18 - contact your distributor. If you have NOT purchased, or are NOT eligible for an upgrade to Link v18 DO NOT download and install this upgrade. Save the file to your hard disk. This will install into an existing version of BricsCAD Pro/Platinum v19-v20.
This installation will:-
- install a new IRRICAD Link Version 18
- upgrade an existing IRRICAD Link V18 to V18.xx.10
- upgrade an existing IRRICAD Link V16 or Link V17 to IRRICAD Link V18.
Select "Yes, Remove older versions" in the installation wizard to retain existing paths.
Patches for V18
These files will patch IRRICAD Link V18 for BricsCAD and include a fix to the Junction Reporting. Apply on top of the IRRICAD Link V18 installation.
1.Click on the required link above and save the Zip file to your hard-drive.
2. Browse to where you have saved the file.
3. Double-click on the zip file to open it and view the contents.
4. Highlight the contents and copy to your installed IRRICAD Link folder, commonly located at C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link for BricsCAD.
Older Patches
These patches apply to IRRICAD Link v17 for BricsCAD only, if you wish to upgrade from any older IRRICAD versions, please contact your IRRICAD distributor.
Download the above file and save it to your hard-drive. Double-click on the file to run it, IRRICAD will self-install the patch.
